This 2 hour workshop covers the techniques of preserving and mounting scorpions.
Workshops are held in the first floor parlour of 104 Rogers Road. They generally start after lunch and end before dinner. Sometimes we’ll provide some light snacks, and there is always coffee, tea, water, etc on hand for those who partake. You could totally bring some beers if you want. I might want one if you do. There will be a break or two in the taxi workshop, usually while we wait for some chemical magic to happen.
Some people come with a friend and there are always some solo travellers too. We’re good about creating a welcoming and friendly environment for everyone. Inevitably I have to shut down some fascinating side conversations to keep things running on time. If the class is smaller, it might just be Jeremy teaching. If it’s up to 5-6 people I may have an assistant as well.
It’s important to arrive on time so the other workshoppers don’t give you stink eye. Don’t be too early though, as I need space to prep things.
Website payment systems are hard. I’ve tried everything and it’s all too much. The easiest way to do this is to contact me by email and send an E-transfer to jeremy@meddlingwithnature.com. If you want to be even older-school, you could mail a cheque I guess. I’ll update the event listing to reflect the new number of seats available once the payment has gone through.
